European Day of Languages

The European Day of Languages is a yearly event held on 26 September. It celebrates the linguistic diversity of a continent with
  • over 200 European languages
  • 24 official EU languages
  • about 60 regional/minority languages
  • and many more spoken by people from other parts of the world
In order to promote this cultural and linguistic diversity the European Internationalization Commission of IES Clot del Moro decided to organize two activities that involved all the students of our institution.
  1. The students had to write on different colourful pieces of papers their personal desires for the new course or for our world. Each wish had to be written in three European languages. On 25th September they had to stick these messages on the wings of a big butterfly placed in the hall of the school.
  2. Some students were filmed expressing their desires and the Day of Languages everybody could watch this video in television located in the entrance of the school
